VILLA GADEA, INTERNATIONAL MUSIC CENTER:
After de painstaking alterations carried otu at the "Villa Gadea " , a palace house the municipality of Altea has been consolidated in the Costa Blanca , as one of the points of reference , in international music. The UNESCO has now rewarded the impressive effort that has been made during many years naming it an "INTERNATIONAL MUSIC CENTER".
Seven of the most important musical headquarters are co-oordinated from here:
- The Yehudy Menuhin Foundation.
- The International Federation of Choir Singing.
- The Music and Mediterranean Organization.
- The International Society of Musical Education ISME.
- The Musical Youths,
- the Social Sciencies and Mediterranean World Foundation
- and the Nits of Meditarrania.
Morower the best professionals in the world of the music are teaching the "Master Class" in collaboration with the Town Hall of Altea.
ALTEA PALACE ARTS CENTRE.
Situated in a privileged enclave or the white village of Altea, THE PALAU (PALACE) ALTEA equipped with the best and innovating installations and withh a capacity for around 1000 peopel, opens its doors to us to ORGANISE CONGRESSES, EXHIBITIONS, AND FOR THE ART WORLD.
Plays, dancing and music meet in this spectacular forum which will undoubtedly surprise the spectator.
Brodadly speaking, the whole cultural complex has three separate spaces:
The Auditorium
The Music Museum which will house the collection of world music instruments of Carlos Blanco Fadol
and different departments of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Miguel Hernandez University.
