2008 - International Youth Conference for delegates from 14 Member Towns in conjunction with Dorset County Council covering "Youth in the Community" from 16th to 18th October
2009 - May - 34th International Conference with 17 from Sherborne held in Altea including a Website Workshop.
- June - ADEPS Sporting and Cultural stay in Houffalize with 40 students and staff taking part.
- June - Wessex Morris men visted Chojna for Chojna Days.
- July - Major Minorities Project Youth in Action in Köszeg with 9 students and leaders.
- July - Cultural visit from Chojna and Türi featuring Estonian musicians and a brilliant Polish pianist.
- July - Wilderness Camp in the national park of the Bavarian forest organised by Bad Kötzting with 7 students and staff.
- August – Work experience for 8 young people from Chojna in the hotel and catering field.
- September to December - Euro Travel Club talks on Douzelage towns covering Altea, Köszeg, Oxelösund and Preveza.
- October - Civic Visit to Prienai with 5 delegates and 4 young people, together with a delegation from the Italian town of Bitetto.
- November - Environmental Conference in Preveza titled "The Youngsters control Climate Change". 4 of our young people were there with Kevin Waterfall.
- Monthly Euro Travel evening illustrated talks commenced with, Altea, Preveza, Oxelosund and Köszeg.
2010 - February and April - Euro Travel Evenings featuring Prienai and Bellagio as well as a regional view of local culture, scenery and customs.
- February - Comenius Regio project meeting in Sherborne with delegates from Chojna, Dorset Education Authority and the Gryphon School. Further visits and meetings in Poland and Sherborne occurred in October and December.
- April - 3 young people with 2 teachers attended the Bellagio Mini Parliament.
- 29th April to 2nd May - 35th International Conference with 15 from Sherborne held in Sušice, where Michael Balfour from Sherborne was elected one of the Vice – Presidents. The Conference included a Youth Workshop on Conserving the National Parks and visiting the Šumava.
- May – Wessex Morris Men visit Türi for the Music Festival.
- July - Global Awareness Week held in Judenburg with 4 of our young people plus Ed Southwood.
- August – Work experience for 6 young people from Chojna in hotel and catering, 1 from Granville and 2 from Bellagio.
- August - Jeremy Barker and 2 others from Sherborne visited Chojna for Chojna Days of European Integration.
2010 - September - Visit of 6 walkers from Meerssen in September exploring Sherborne and 3 beautiful parts of Dorset.
- September - Euro Travel Evenings will feature monthly until Christmas Türi, Chojna, Bad Kötzting and Sušice. Depending on their popularity more member towns will follow in the New Year.
- December – A number of members from Sherborne will attend the Christmas Tree Lighting Festival in Prienai, Lithuania.
2011
- 26th to 29th May - 20th Anniversary Conference in Granville where the theme will be Volunteering.
- August – Following on the Granville Conference and continuing the theme of Volunteering, we are planning a Youth Workshop in August 2011; a Workshop for adults and voluntary bodies in autumn 2011 and finally a conference for Civic Leaders in May 2012. The events will include a Citizens Programme of sporting, cultural, musical and historical activities.
- During 2011 – There will be a Competition to find the Musician of the Year with a view later to involve all member towns to choose the best international musician to represent the Douzelage at the 39th International Conference to be held in 2014 in Sigulda, one of the European cities of culture in that year.
